Banana pancakes with nut puree

In today’s society, we have to perform in almost all areas of our daily lives, which makes stress an unloved companion in everyday life. Therefore, this article will introduce you to an effective anti-stress recipe, which is very simple in its preparation and simply tastes delicious! The B vitamins and magnesium contained in it have a calming effect on the organism. The natural sugar increases your performance. At the same time, complex carbohydrates prevent cravings. It also contains tryptophan, which regulates our nervous system and contributes to the production of happy hormones.

Before that, however, it must be said that in nutrition, as everywhere in life, consistency makes the difference: eating an anti-stress recipe the day before an exam or similar can contribute to a short-term improvement in your condition. In the long run, however, you should pay attention to a healthy and balanced diet with few industrially processed products, plenty of fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats (nuts, vegetable oils, etc.) to promote your overall well-being.

Now let’s get to the recipe: banana pancakes with nut puree and cocoa nibs. Sounds fancy, but it’s actually totally simple. For one serving you need:

1 banana
60 ml milk
1 cup oatmeal
1 egg
honey (to taste)
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
some oil for the pan

1 tbsp almond paste
5 g cocoa nibs (can be replaced by dark chocolate)
cinnamon and honey (optional)
Fruits, berries, nuts and natural yogurt (optional)

  1. In a blender, blend the rolled oats into flour. The banana is mashed with a fork. Both are mixed together and blended with the other ingredients to form a smooth batter.
  2. heat some oil in a frying pan. Add small portions of the batter to the pan and fry until golden brown.
  3. arrange pancakes and garnish with sliced fruit, almond paste, cacao nibs (or dark chocolate) and some honey and cinnamon if desired (natural yogurt also goes well).

Have fun cooking and bon appétit!
