Bananas contain tryptophan, which our body converts into serotonin. This gives you a real happiness boost. On the other hand, bananas are rich in magnesium, vitamin B6 and potassium. These vitamins and trace elements are known for their stress-reducing effects. Walnuts also contain a lot of magnesium and also many B-group vitamins.

You need for the delicious muffins:

4 bananas, ripe
240 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of cinnamon
90 g sugar
60 g oil
1 egg
120 ml milk
100 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
100 g chocolate, white, coarsely chopped


  1. peel the ripe bananas and then put them in a mixing bowl. Next, carefully mash them with a fork.
  2. add flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder, oil, milk, cinnamon and salt to the bananas in the bowl and mix well with a whisk until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Depending on the consistency, add a little more milk.
  3. stir in the chopped walnuts and the white chocolate until the ingredients are well distributed.
  4. Divide the batter evenly among about 15 muffin cups and then bake in a preheated oven at 180° convection for 20 minutes.
