You’ve probably been there: A long day, stress at the office, then you wanted to go to the gym, but you still have to prepare dinner for tomorrow. Where are you going to go with all these things to do when there’s not enough time?

Most of the time this presents you with a big challenge, but don’t let it stress you out. Make time for the important things. In fact, for the things that are important to you. Don’t let all the stress around it affect you.

You can also make a plan for the important things and one for them stress free. Reducing stress is very important. Take this time. Go work out, go for a walk, go to the sauna or just go to the pool and swim a few laps. There are so many things you can do to relieve your inner stress and pressure.

And then, when you’re a little bit de-stressed and you’ve relieved some pressure, only then dedicate yourself to the things you have going on.

You are studying? Are you under pressure to perform? Find something that lets you switch off for a moment. Music, for example. You decide whether it’s calm or stormy. Every person reacts differently to certain types of music. Some people need the chaos to relieve stress and some people need the quiet to switch off.

Still need to plan your vacation, shop for utensils – but your vacation isn’t approved yet? Make a list of what you need to do first. This will give you the opportunity to work through the individual steps at your leisure.

It works wonders. You will see how stress-free you can start the day when you know exactly what needs to be done. This way you still have plenty of time in between for nice things. Reward yourself for every stressful thing you do. And be it just your favorite chocolate bar or a latte macchiato in a quiet corner of a café. The important thing is that it brings you the peace and happiness of having done something good. Namely, having gotten something important done and experiencing some peace and bliss – even if just for a moment – it’s worth its weight in gold.

Don’t let stress get to you and think about the good things in life. Of course, it’s also important to do your job, take care of your family or be there for your friends. But keep one thing in mind: You can only do that if you are personally well and can approach things without stress.
