Fried potatoes with onions and bacon

Fried potatoes with onions and bacon

Surely you know the moment when everything becomes too much for you. Whether it’s because the stress of exams is getting on top of you, your boss doesn’t like you or your children don’t want to play alone again. We all know stress. But we also have to eat and believe me, nothing helps more against stress than fried potatoes with onions and bacon!

For one serving you need
200 g potatoes firm boiling, alternatively also four to five pieces
one onion
1 piece of bacon
salt and pepper to taste
some oil for the pan

Accessories:
pan and a sharp knife

Preparation:

First you peel the onions and potatoes, cut both into thin slices. The knife should be sharp. Please take care of your fingers, because in case of stress it is best to cut as fast as possible. Imagine that your stressors are lying in front of you and with the help of the knife you can cut them into small pieces. – Don’t be afraid of tantrums, onions and potatoes can take it. So that you have a little more to cut, the bacon follows next. Cut it into small cubes.
Next, put some oil, or alternatively butter or lard, into a lukewarm pan. When it is nicely browned, add the potatoes and let them brown. It is easier to put the lid on and turn the potatoes in the meantime.

When the potatoes are nicely browned, add the onions and bacon cubes. You can also season everything with salt and pepper. Optionally, you can also add an egg.
Now let everything fry for about 10 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown.
Afterwards you can enjoy everything and try to concentrate on every single component of the meal. With a delicious drink for dessert, the stress will fly away and you will have time to relax.
We wish you bon appétit.
