Nerve cookies according to Hildegard of Bingen

The nerve cookies have a mood-lifting effect and are very helpful in the gloomy season. In addition, the spices help in the elimination of toxins, against fatigue and lack of concentration. You need

400 g spelt flour and 250 g butter.
150 g cane sugar and 200 g ground almonds.
You also need 2 eggs
As spices you need 20 g cinnamon, 20 g nutmeg and 10 g cloves.

Mix all the ingredients together in a container and knead them into a dough. Put the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour. After that you can roll out the dough for the cookies to a thickness of 3 mm and cut them out as you like. The cookies are then baked in the oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes.

3-4 cookies per day can have a positive effect. Not only at Christmas time, but also in between as a snack together with an apple, the nerve cookies taste very tasty according to Hildegard von Bingen.
