If you’re looking for a stress-free meal, a redfish fillet comes in handy. It contains omega 3 fatty acids. They invigorate and improve the mood already during cooking and frying. Specifically, we are talking about the redfish in Asian style.
300 grams of redfish fillet for two people
1/8 paprika or paprika powder
¼ ginger bulb
1 clove garlic
1/2 stalk of lemongrass
Pepper and salt
30 ml cherry
But how do you prepare it?
Either buy the fillet from the fishmonger or from the supermarket. You should also find out beforehand if your guest is allowed to drink alcoholic beverages or ingredients. Otherwise, instead of cherry, there are flavorings that serve the same purpose.
First, you need to wash the fish in the basin. Then you break the egg and mix the white and yolk with the flour. In this combination you can then bathe the fish and season it with pepper and salt. Now put the fish aside. On a cutting board, chop up the ¼ ginger bulb, carrots and garlic clove. The spicy tuning includes 1/8 paprika, which also needs to be shredded. Then comes the chopped lemongrass.
Now comes the frying. First you heat 3 to 4 tablespoons of sesame oil in a pan. At the same time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. When the pan is hot, fry the fish on both sides for about three to four minutes. Then take it out and put it on a piece of aluminum foil. Now add the vegetables to the pan. After about four minutes, deglaze with 300 ml of cherry. Add some pepper and salt.
Now put the fish on top of the vegetables. Put it in the oven for about 20 minutes. In the next step, put on the rice, which should be ready to serve at the same time as the fish.
