Koettbullar (meatballs) are the Swedish national dish. Traditionally, they are made from meat. However, there is a healthy delicious vegetarian version that is stress preventive to boot.
The wholesome Jerusalem artichoke, with its high fiber content, is ideal as a stress-reducing ingredient. It is healthy for the intestinal tract and the entire metabolism. Moreover, Jerusalem artichoke has been proven to have a performance-enhancing effect. But this great tuber gives you not only health, but also beauty. At least, it can provide a fresh, young, healthy complexion.

The sweet potato is known as an anti-stress vegetable and contains many minerals such as zinc, calcium and potassium and vitamins such as vitamin C, E, B1, B2, B6, folic acid and beta-carotene.
The Ayurvedic medicinal root turmeric has anti-inflammatory effects, gives strength and reduces the effects of oxidative stress. Turmeric, also called turmeric, strengthens your entire immune system, has antibacterial and antiviral effects. The power root is able to regulate and lower blood sugar levels.
If you consume turmeric over a longer period of time, you will notice how your hair becomes more powerful and starts to shine.

Vegetarian meatballs (Koettbullar)

Ingredients:
200ml water
10g vegetable broth
225g oatmeal
100g onions
125g Jerusalem artichoke (or parsley root)
100g sweet potatoes
50g fresh turmeric
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Preparation:
Briefly boil the water with the vegetable broth.
Stir in the oatmeal and let it swell covered for 10 minutes.
Then let the mixture cool down.
Then put the cooled oat flakes into a bowl.
Now dice the onions and grate the Jerusalem artichoke (or alternatively the parsley root), the sweet potato and the fresh turmeric root. (If you can’t get fresh turmeric, you can use turmeric powder).

Add the chopped ingredients to the oatmeal mixture along with the egg. Add salt and pepper. Then knead everything well.
Form about 35 balls with wet hands.
Fry the vegetarian balls in a hot pan for about 10-12 minutes.
